Chisinau, 1 May /MOLDPRES/ - Health, Labour and Social protection Minister Viorica Dumbraveanu, at a today’s news briefing, said that 90 patients had been discharged from hospitals on 30 April and 126 were hospitalized.
„Ninety patients were discharged on 30 April. Thus, we have 1,272 treated people so far,’’ Dumbraveanu noted.
The official specified that 3,897 COVID-19 cases were confirmed and 119 people had died of coronavirus.
Referring to the lift of the emergency state on 15 May, Dumbraveanu said that some restrictions would remain in force.
„It is not about the cancellation of all restrictions. We are talking about the adaptation of measures. Thus, we cannot say that it will be a cancellation of the restrictions. Each institution will work out a regulation on the prevention of the spread of coronavirus. There are many restrictions which will remain in force also in case the emergency state is lift,’’ the health minister stressed.
It is worth mentioning that, under a decision approved by the parliament, state of emergency was declared in Moldova on 17 March for a period of 60 days, which expires on 15 May.
