Fund of digital innovations' support to be created in Moldova

Chisinau, 16 July /MOLDPRES/ - The fund of digital innovations’ support will be created in Moldova. The parliament adopted a draft on amendment of the law on parks for information technology in two readings today.

The fund will be created to back the digital innovations and will be financed both from the state budget and means of development partners. The use of the fund’s momey will be managed and monitored by a coordination council, with the participation of representatives of the associative sector and development partners.

Also, the draft’s authors propose to increase the insured monthly income of the IT parks’ residents from 60 to 68 per cent of the average salary forecast on the economy.
