Only 404 kindergartens resumed work on 1 September

Chisinau, 1 September /MOLDPRES/- Only 404 of over 1398 kindergartens resumed work today. Minister of Education, Culture and Research Igor Sarov made the statement at a briefing.
The other kindergartens will gradually reopen.
Also, the official said that on 1 September 19 schools were not reopened, where the online teaching regime was applied. Sarov said that out of the 1,252 schools in the country, 800 chose pupils to be present at lessons and the rest opted for combined education.
He recalled the need to strictly comply with the decisions of the National Public Health Commission, which says that children who have returned to class will comply with certain restrictions.
