Moldovan electoral body registered three other initiative groups to support presidential candidates

Chisinau, 9 September /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission examined today the applications for registration of the initiative groups for collecting signatures to support the candidates for the position of President of the Republic of Moldova.

Thus, it was authorized to collect signatures for: Violeta Ivanov, candidate nominated by the Shor Party; Ion Costaș, candidate nominated by the assembly of citizens; Constantin Oboroc, candidate nominated by the assembly of citizens.

To collect signatures in support of candidates, the election administration issued membership cards and subscription lists to the members of the initiative groups.

Initiative groups are entitled to collect signatures by 1 October 2020.
