Increase in number of COVID-19 diseases recorded in educational institutions in Chisinau

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/- The number of coronavirus diseases in Chisinau is approaching 22 thousand.
According to the head of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Health, Tatiana Bucearschi, out of 927 seats in municipal hospitals, 662 hospitalized people are positively confirmed with the new coronavirus, and 50 are suspected of having contracted the disease.
At the same time, the official said that there is an increase in the number of coronavirus diseases in municipal educational institutions, where 380 cases have been registered.
"We have registered 166 pupils who fell ill with COVID-19 and 214 school staff," said Bucearschi.
