Moldovan government approves regulation on annual prize

Chisinau, 11 November /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet members today approved a regulation on the way of calculating the payment of the national prize to the staff of the budgetary units for the result of work carried out in 2019.  

Under the government decision, the employees from budgetary units, who received salaries based on the Law No 270/2018 on the single salary payment system in the public sector, who carried out activity in 2019, can benefit from annual prize for the results of the work from the last year.

„The means of the salary payment funds of up to 50 per cent of the basic salaries of the people with right to benefit from annual prize, calculated on 31 December 2019 or the last day of work at the budgetary units before 31 December 2019, proportionally to the time actually worked in 2019, will be used for the providing of the annual prize,’’ the Finance Ministry said.  

The prize for the results of the wok in 2019 will be awarded within the limits of the volume of staff expenses provided for in the state budget in 2020, local budgets, state social insurances budget. The savings identified at the staff expenses envisaged in the budgets of budgetary units will be primordially directed to provide the annual prize.    

The Finance Ministry will monitor, till late 2020, the level of carrying out of the staff expenses in the budgetary units financed from the state budget and social budgets, in order to intervene, if needed, with proposals of additional allocations of means on this purpose.   

The annual prize for the results of the work from 2019 will be paid in December 2020.
