Chisinau authorities to have joint meeting with HoReCa representatives this week

Chisinau, 23 November /MOLDPRES/- This week, Chisinau authorities will meet with HoReCa representatives to discuss measures to prevent and stabilize the coronavirus pandemic.

During today's meeting of the services of Chisinau municipality, it was announced that the representatives of the city hall carried out unannounced checks on November 21-22 to verify compliance with measures to prevent coronavirus infection and found that there are public catering units that does not respect them.

In this context, mayor Ion Ceban urged compliance with all preventive measures, otherwise the municipality will be put in a position to move to more drastic measures to prevent infection, which would include the total closure of restaurants, clubs and cafes.

At the same time, he said he will sanction any employee of the local public administration who will not respect the measure of wearing the mask in closed or open spaces.

In the context of reducing the spread of COVID-19 infection, the Public Health Commission of Chisinau decided on 20 November to wear a mask in closed or open spaces as a measure to prevent COVID-19.
