Chisinau, 9 December /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today voted for the recalling of Andrei Neguta from the office of Moldova’s extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Russia and, by plurality of positions, to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

In the context, Prime Minister Ion Chicu said that the decision came following a scandal with anabolics, in which a transport means of the Moldovan Embassy in Moscow would be involved. The PM demanded that Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Aureliu Ciocoi undertakes needed measures, in order to exclude, in the long run, such cases, ‘’which dishonor the country and its diplomatic service.’’

Also today, the cabinet members voted for the appointment of Eugenia Balaca as Moldova’s representative in the Bureau for the Coordination of the Fight Against Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crimes on the Territory of the Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
