Good Roads for Moldova 2020 programme fully completed in 19 districts

Chisinau, 11 December /MOLDPRES/ - The works of restoration within the Good Roads for Moldova 2020 programme  have been fully completed in 19 districts, the State Administration of Roads (ASD) has reported.

According to the institution, the works of periodical repair and maintenance within the programme were fully finished in the districts of Anenii Noi, Falesti, Nisporeni, Orhei, Sangerei, Basarabeasca, Dubasari, Rezina, Stefan Voda, Straseni, Soldanesti, Ocnita, Telenesti, Calarasi, Briceni, Causeni, Rascani, Criuleni and Soroca.   

„More than 95 per cent out of all investments amounting to 1.125 billion lei within the Good Roads for Moldova 2020 programme have been carried out, representing about 1.072 billion lei,’’ ASD said.

The programme, which provides for the periodical repair and maintenance of roads from 33 districts and the Chisinau and Balti municipalities, finished the works on about 845 km of road out of 907 km of road included for repair. As much as 296.1 km of the overall about 299 km of roads provided for the repair with cloth made of asphalt concrete have been finished. Over 547 km of road out of the 608 km of roads seen to be rehabilitated with gravel road cloth, have been carried out, according to ASD.   

Presently, the works continue on roads from 14 districts and two cities, which have not been fully completed.
