Chisinau suburbs to get about 120 million lei in 2021

Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau city hall has allocated for 2021 about 120 million lei for suburbs.

Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban said at the online meeting of the municipal services today that he will start consultations with the mayors of suburban localities on budget allocations for 2021.

According to the mayor, in 2020, the municipality granted to the localities of Chisinau about 100 million lei. "We have provided in the budget for 2021 approximately 120 million lei that will be earmarked to suburban localities for the development of infrastructure projects - water / sewerage networks and roads and the repair of schools or kindergartens," said Ceban.

Chisinau has 35 localities: a municipality with five sectors, six cities (which include two villages) and 12 communes, including 14 villages.
