Moldovan cabinet approves redistribution of 145.5 million lei to pay annual bonuses to public sector employees for 2019

Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/ - The participants in the today’s cabinet meeting approved the distribution and redistribution of allocations provided for in the state budget law for 2020. The overall sum of the distributed means is of about 145.5 million lei, in order to provide the annual bonus to the public sector employees for the results of the work carried out in 2019.

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, 117.1 million lei is redistributed to the central public authorities and about 28.4 million lei is transferred to local budgets. The financial means are covered from the allocations seen in the state budget for implementing the single salary payment system in the public sector.

At the same time, to ensure the payment of the annual bonus for the results of the work from 2019, additional financial resources are envisaged, amounting to 53.2 million lei, for 19 central public authorities.
