Moldovan deputy premier for reintegratrion meets Ambassador of Czech Republic

Chisinau, 16 December /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Olga Cebotari today had a meeting with Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Moldova, Zdeněk Krejcí. The officials discussed aspects of the bilateral cooperation and Chisinau’s priorities in the sector of the country’s reintegration policies, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.    

Olga Cebotari thanked the Czech government for the support provided internationally and through assistance projects implemented in Moldova.

The deputy PM informed about the latest developments marked in the settlement of topical problems which affect the residents from both banks of Dniester, as well as in the fulfillment of the commitments taken through the Berlin+ package.   

Cebotari noted that the Moldovan government continued to promote a policy aimed edifying trust and at getting closer the two banks, by promoting the dialogue with Tiraspol within all current platforms and by creating the best conditions for the sustainable development of the settlements from the left bank, ensuring the observance of the fundamental human rights and freedoms in the region and settling the problems of major interest for the residents.

The Moldovan official highlighted that the issue of human rights, ensuring the free movement and the one of efficient management and by joint efforts of the pandemic situation on both banks of Dniester represented priority subjects on the agenda of the Chisinau-Tiraspol dialogue.  

The interlocutors expressed openness for continuing the bilateral cooperation on aspects of mutual interest.
