Amendments on social benefits to be published in Official Journal of Moldova

Chisinau, 17 December /MOLDPRES/- The Official Journal on 18 December will publish the government's decision on changes in social benefits.

According to the decision, the financial institutions by 28 December 2020 will present to the National Social Insurance House the confirmations on amounts of social benefits on the beneficiaries' accounts and will return on the accounts of the National Social Insurance House, opened for each type of social benefit, the amounts of social benefits not distributed on the beneficiaries' accounts, including the amounts available which have been requested under the provisions.

The Moldovan Post Office state-owned enterprise will present by 24 December 2020 to the National Social Insurance House electronic lists and reports on the payment of pensions, state social allowances and disability benefits as a result of work accidents and occupational diseases.

The decision enters into force on 1 January 2021, except for some items which come into force upon publication in the Official Journal of Moldova.
