Chisinau, 24 December /MOLDPRES/- Beneficiaries of pensions and social benefits whose monthly amount does not exceed four thousand lei will receive in April 2021 one-off allowance worth 1,000 lei. The government's decision in this regard was published in the Official Journal today.

About 690 thousand people will benefit from the financial support. About 696.9 million lei was allocated to the social insurance budget to this end.

"The payment of the single financial support is made through the payment method selected by the beneficiary and available within the government electronic payment service (MPay). The evidence of the payment is made by the National Social Insurance House ”, the document reads.

The decision shall enter into force on 1 April 2021.
