More settlements of Moldova to get status of balneo-therapeutic health resorts

Chisinau, 4 February /MOLDPRES/ - The villages and cities and towns from Moldova which meet the climatic, balneologic conditions and are important for the health and leisure of residents, will get the status of balneo-therapeutic health resorts.

A document approved by the parliament in the second reading today sees that the status of balneo-therapeutic health resort of settlements from Moldova is to be given under government decision. At the same time, they will be proposed by local councils, by consulting the citizens from the concerned settlement, based on the single technical norms adopted by the cabinet.

The draft regards also the economic and social development of settlements from Moldova, in order to rationally use and sustainably turn to account the therapeutic mineral substances. This also implies the development of tourism in villages and towns and cities.
