Spring cleaning started in Chisinau

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau city hall informs about the organization and development of the municipal campaign Spring Cleaning.

Sanitation and landscaping actions will be held on 1 March -30 April.

According to the order of Chisinau mayor, during the spring cleaning campaign, the General Directorate for Housing and Planning will ensure the sanitation of common areas, sidewalks, waiting stations for public transport, garbage collection platforms, and cleaning up pillars and walls where advertisements have been placed. Also, it will monitor the sanitation and landscaping works related to the blocks of flats, including the playgrounds for children and the sports fields.

At the same time, the Public Transport and Communications Directorate will ensure cleaning of streets and washing and painting of bridge railings and street protection railings. Also during this period, the yards and lands related to kindergartens, schools and medical institutions in the municipality will be cleaned up.

Responsible people of the Association for the Management of Green Spaces will carry out general cleaning works in parks, squares, alleys and green spaces in Chisinau and will repair street furniture. Also, damaged trees will be cut down and trees will be planted.
