Providing transport to Chisinau stays priority for residents of capital's suburbs

Chisinau, 3 March /MOLDPRES/ - The main problem recorded by the residents of the Chisinau city’s suburbs is the providing of transport to and from the capital, according to an online opinion poll launched by the Chisinau city hall.  

The opinion poll’s goal is to establish the priorities of development of these settlements with the city hall’s financial contribution. Thus, about 33.53 per cent of the Chisinau suburbs’ residents identified the providing of the transport to and from the Moldovan capital as a priority.  

In the end of this week, the process of establishing the priorities for developing the capital’s suburbs will end. The residents of the suburban communes can vote only till 7 March.  

So far, among the preferences of the suburbs’ residents, there are: the transport to and from Chisinau – 33.53 per cent; aqueduct/sewerage – 23.15 per cent; road of access to the suburb – 19.07 per cent; repair in schools and kindergartens – 14.10 per cent; repair of settlement’s club – 1.73 per cent.  

The collection of data on projects which should be developed in the settlements included in the Chisinau municipality was started by the capital’s city hall on 20 February 2021, with the website www.suburbii.chisinau.md launched to this end. The Chisinau city hall allocated 100 million lei for the second year, for the development of the settlements included in the municipality.
