Chisinau, 18 March /MOLDPRES/- Decree on appointment of Igor Grosu as Prime Minister will be published in tomorrow's issue of the Official Journal.

According to the document, under Article 98 (1), (2) of the Constitution, the President decrees: Igor Grosu is appointed as a candidate for the position of Prime Minister and is authorized to draw up the program of activity and the list of the government and submit them to the parliament for consideration.

The decision to nominate Grosu for the position of prime minister was announced by Maia Sandu on 16 March after consultations with parliamentary factions.
