Moldovan fine artist marks 75th birthday anniversary

Chisinau, 25 March /MOLDPRES/ - Fine artist, holder of more prizes in the painting field Victor Hristov marks his 75th birthday anniversary today.
According to art critic Constantin Spanu, the works by painter Victor Hristov bring to the audience an original world which bears, to the same extent, the imprint of the reality and fantasticalness, organically integrated in a single indispensable whole.
Victor Hristov was born in the southern Cimislia town on 25 March 1946. In 1975, he finished the I.E. Repin Republican School of Fine Arts and in 1988 – the Ion Creanga State Pedagogical University, the Painting and Graphic Faculty. Starting from the same year, Hristov has been member of the Moldovan Fine Artists’ Union (UAP).
He participated in over 250 international and national exhibitions and was awarded more prizes, including the prize for Excellence in Art of UAP (2003) and other prizes. Victor Hristov’s works are preserved in public and private collections from Armenia, Bulgaria, The Czech Republic, Switzerland, France, Georgia, Germany, Israel, Yugoslavia, the United Kingdom, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, USA, Ukraine, Hungary and Moldova.
