Chisinau, 29 March /MOLDPRES/ - More than 80 per cent of Moldova’s customs employees have participated in a string of webinars on the counteraction of the trafficking of counterfeit anti-COVID vaccines: Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca. The activities were carried out under the auspices of the World Customs Organization, in the first three months of this year.

The participants in the trainings unveiled information on the characteristic features and essential specifications of the anti-COVID-19 vaccines. ‘’The goal of the online activities was to enhance the level of awareness as to the danger posed by the distribution of counterfeit anti-COVID-19 vaccines,’’ the Customs Service said.

„Therefore, the Customs Service of Moldova and the customs administrations from all over the world will be better prepared to identify and limit the trafficking of fake anti-COVID-19 vaccines,’’ a press release of the institution reads.
