Chisinau, 21 April /MOLDPRES/- Primary school pupils (1-4) and graduates (9 and 12) of schools in Ungheni municipality today returned to studies with physical presence in classrooms. A decision in this regard was taken yesterday by the Committee for Emergencies of the district.

According to the decision, pupils from other classes will continue for the time being remote education. "Depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation, the decision can be changed once in 14 days," the document reads.

This week, primary school pupils and graduates of Chisinau and Balti returned to studies in classrooms. The children returned to schools following the decisions taken by the local commissions for emergencies.

In this context, a group of parents demonstrated yesterday at the Causeni district Council, asking the authorities to reopen the schools. The representatives of the local administration said they cannot allow the resumption of the study process with physical presence, because Causeni is still under the Red Alert Code. For their part, the parents said that if the pupils are not integrated in the school, they will go to street protests next week.

Yesterday, acting prime minister Aureliu Ciocoi said that only Taraclia, Hâncești and Floresti districts have left the red alert code on the epidemiological situation.
