Moldovan education ministry awards prizes to more sportspeople

Chisinau, 29 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovan sportspeople who occupied the first places at European and world competitions, recently held in Poland and Egypt, today were awarded the diploma of the Education, Culture and Research Ministry (MECC).

The MECC diploma was offered to sportspeople, who got medals at the European Wrestling Championship (Warsaw): golden medal - Irina Ringaci; bronze medal – Maxim Salcutan, bronze medal – Anastasia Nichita, bronze medal – Iulia Leorda.

Prizes were also awarded to Daria Cozorez, who got the silver medal at the World Boxing Championship in Kielce, Poland, as well as Maria Cojocari, who got the bronze medal at the World Junior and Cadet Fencing Championship, (Cairo, Egypt).

The participation of Moldovan sportspeople within the sports championship from Kielce and Cairo was possible due to the financial support of the Education, Culture and Research Ministry.
