Exhibition dedicated to Europe Days opened at National Library of Moldova

Chisinau, 5 May /MOLDPRES/ - A book exhibition titled, Europe from A to Z, was opened at the National Library (BNRM) today, in the context of the Europe Days 2021.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, BNRM director Elena Pintilei said that the exhibition had been organized by the Pro-European Centre of Services and Communication (CPESC) of the Library, within the European Information for Everybody Service.

According to Pintilei, in May, BNRM urges readers to discover Europe interactively/dynamically, through the participation in the contest titled, Let us crate the Euro-dictionary together, organized in partnership with META/Moldovan English Teachers Association. Also, online games titled, Europe is just more than you believe, will be held on 11 May, in cooperation with Heritage International School.

The Europe Day is a yearly holiday of peace and unity. There are two dates for marking this day: 5 May for the Council of Europe and 9 May for the European Union.

In Moldova, the Europe Day was marked for the first time in 2006.
