Joint declaration of Moldova's parliament, Belarusian National Assembly signed in Minsk

Chisinau, 5 May /MOLDPRES/ - A joint declaration on the cooperation between the parliament of Moldova and the National Assembly (parliament) of Belarus was signed in Minsk today. The ceremony was held at the Government House, during an official visit to Belarus by Moldovan Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii.   

According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, in the declaration, the sides express determination for the development of the inter-parliamentary cooperation in line with the interests of both states and peoples, as well as in the fields of commerce and economy, culture, science, education, tourism, etc.

The declaration also highlights the development of the constructive dialogue in the legislative activity sector, extending the inter-regional bilateral relations, creating conditions for establishing direct relations between economic agents.

The declaration was signed by Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii, Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova and Speaker of the Chamber of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreychenko.        

At the Government House, Speaker Zinaida Greceanii signed in the book of honour and described as symbolical the visit to Belarus by the parliamentary delegation on the eve of the Victory Day, to which the Belarusian nation brought  its extraordinary contribution.     

”I convey my sincere words of admiration for the courage of the Belarusians. We are proud of this glorious page from the common history of our peoples,’’ reads the message by Zinaida Greceanii.
