National Agency for Employment to train unemployed people having no profession

Chisinau, 13 May /MOLDPRES/- The National Agency for Employment (ANOFM) has signed contracts with 11 service providers for training of the unemployed.

According to ANOFM, the vocational training of the unemployed is an active measure of employment, which is organized for people who cannot be employed due to lack of a profession or the absence of jobs corresponding to their professional training.

Unemployed people who will participate in professional training courses will benefit during the training from a non-taxable monthly scholarship, in the amount of 15% of the average monthly salary per economy (1216.12 lei).

At the same time, they will be compensated for accommodation expenses, in proportion of 20% of the average monthly salary per economy for the previous year (1621.50 lei), for each month of rent. Also, ANOFM will cover the transport expenses, in case the unemployed people will participate in professional training courses in another locality than the one where they have their domicile.

At the end of March, there were 28,105 unemployed, of which 13,696 were women.
