Chisinau local authorities work out first strategy on youth sector development

Chisinau, 19 May /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau city hall has worked out Draft Municipal Strategy for development of youth sector 2021-2026, the first document of this kind made in the capital.

The purpose of the document is to develop and strengthen the youth sector over the next six years; creating an appropriate environment to ensure the development of each young person personally and professionally, including those in low-opportunity groups; providing opportunities for participation in decision-making processes; young people's access to a wide and diverse range of youth services.

According to officials, the document is under consideration by the Chisinau city hall departments for amendments. After the elaboration of the Action Plan of the Strategy and of the expenditure estimate, the document will be presented to the Chisinau Municipal Council.
