Meteorologists forecast warm, sunny weather for next week-end in Moldova

Chisinau, 21 May /MOLDPRES/ - Warm and sunny weather is expected in Moldova in the next week-end, the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has reported.

According to meteorologists, on 22 May, the air temperatures will oscillate between +20 and +25 Celsius degrees during the day and between +5 and +10 degrees at night.

Warmer weather is forecast for 23 May, when the air temperature will increase to +26 degrees during the day and +15 degrees at night. The week-end will be marked by variable cloud, preponderantly sunny weather, with no precipitation. The rains might return on 24 May, with an insignificant cooling of the weather.

On 22 May, the old-style Orthodox Christians celebrate Saint Hierarch Nicholas. They say that the Saint Nicholas marked in December brings the cold, while the May holiday signals the coming of the warm weather.
