More than 102,000 citizens vaccinated in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 8 June /MOLDPRES/ - More than 102,000 Chisinau residents have been vaccinated.  

The Chisinau city hall informed that 102,000 citizens from the Chisinau municipality had been vaccinated with first dose against COVID-19 and about 25,000 received the second dose.

Also, the Moldovan capital’s authorities inform that the process of immunization of the residents from Chisinau and its suburbs would continue. The citizens can schedule online for vaccination against COVID-19, by accessing the national platform www.vaccinare.gov.md. Thus, the population eligible for vaccination will introduce data at the scheduling section and those who for the moment are not eligible will register in the waiting list. For scheduling, the platform’s users will need the identity card or any act containing the IDNP.

The vaccination is free of charge and available for all people interested, no matter the residence visa or the place of residence, at all primary medical assistance institutions, Chisinau-based municipal vaccination centre and through mobile teams.

On 7 June 2021, there were 106,403 confirmed COVID-19 cases in all, of whom 103,409 patients recovered and 1,889 people died.
