Moldovan voters can ask for certificates for right to vote

Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) informs that the voters can ask for certificates for right to vote.
Under the electoral legislation, the people who on the election day will not be in the settlement where they have valid residence can ask for a certificate for right to vote at the electoral bureau of the polling station. This certificate will allow electors to vote at any other polling station in Moldova, on an additional electoral list.
The certificate for right to vote is issued by the electoral bureau of the polling station, where it belongs according to the valid residence, till 10 July 2021 inclusively.
The certificate is released upon presentation of the identity card, which shows the residence of the voter in the area of the concerned polling station.
