Strengthening of Moldovan-Polish cooperation between local public authorities discussed in Poland's Senate

Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has discussed with Marshal of Poland’s Senate Tomasz Grodzki, at the end of the today’s visit to Warsaw, the presidential press service has reported.
The two officials exchanged opinions on the political situation in Moldova and the forthcoming parliamentary elections. ‘’We are grateful to the Warsaw authorities for the support due to be provided for the good organization of the ballot for the Moldovan Diaspora from Poland,’’ the head of state stressed.
President Maia Sandu and Marshall of the Senate Tomasz Grodzki paid increased attention to the need to consolidate the cooperation at the level of the local public authorities between the two countries.
„Moldova needs investments for development, especially in regions, and Poland’s experience can be of real use to this end,’’ Maia Sandu said.
