Moldovan parliament speaker awarded Medal of Honour of Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Assembly

Chisinau, 22 June /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii has been awarded the Medal of Honour of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Assembly (BSEC PA), as a token of gratitude for the full support of the organization’s activities, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
Statements to this effect were made by President of Romania’s Chamber of Deputies Ludovic Orban at a today’s plenary session of BSEC PA, after he had taken over the organization’s chairmanship from Moldova’s parliament for the second half of 2021.
Zinaida Greceanii thanked for the distinction, noting that she was honoured to receive this medal, which she dedicated to Moldova.
Moldova’s parliament today hosted the 57th session of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Assembly, the chairmanship of which it held in the first half of this year.
BSEC PA was set up in Istanbul in 1993. Presently, the Assembly includes delegations of the parliaments from 12 member states: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.
