New vaccination marathon to be organized in Moldovan capitan in next week-end

Chisinau, 23 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall will organize a new vaccination marathon on 26 June.

The Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, today informed that the city hall would organize a new vaccination marathon at the headquarters of the Palace of the Republic on 26 June. The mayor stressed that the vaccine Sputnik-V would be preponderantly used for the anti-Covid immunization, but the vaccines AstraZeneca and Sinopharm vaccines will be present too.

According to Ceban, the way of vaccination will be simple – ‘’first come – first served’’ and asked residents not to crowd.

On 19 June, Moldova received another consignment of 65,000 doses of Sputnik-V vaccine, donated by Russia.

The state secretary at the Health Ministry, Igor Curov, said that 20,000 doses of Russian vaccine would be distributed to authorities from the Transnistrian region.
