First 150,000 doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccine reached Moldova

Chisinau, 13 July /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu received last night, at Chisinau Airport, the first 150 thousand doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccine out of the 500 thousand doses donated by the United States of America, through the COVAX platform, the presidential press service has reported.
The official thanked US Ambassador to Moldova Dereck J. Hogan for solidarity gesture of the United States. At the same time, she called on citizens to get vaccinated against Covid-19.
"I urge you to get vaccinated. The danger of getting sick is not over yet, and life and health are invaluable ", Maia Sandu said.
