Dog days, no rains forecast in Moldova for next week-end

Chisinau, 16 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Yellow Code of dog days, announced by the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) earlier this week, remains in force for the next week-end too.   

According to meteorologists, on the concerned period, the country will be overwhelmed by heat, with the air temperature growing up to +35 Celsius degrees in most regions during the day. At night, the air temperature will be +23 degrees.  

The day of 19 July is forecast to be even warmer, with the air temperature increasing to +36 degrees during the day and +25 degrees at night. Also on next Monday, thunderstorm rains are expected all over Moldova.  

In the context, physicians warn especially elderly people, pregnant women, children and patients with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, allergic people to avoid bathing in the sun, opt for light clothes, preferably made of natural linen, cover their heads and take care of hydration.
