Chisinau, 22 July /MOLDPRES/ - More than a half of the 101 MPs elected at the 11 July parliamentary elections are to be at their first lawmaker mandate. The parliament’s secretariat informed that it had put at the MPs’ disposal more instruments of initiation in the parliamentary activity.

According to the secretariat, at the foundation meetings, kits will be distributed to all lawmakers with information and contact data of the distinct subdivisions of the parliament’s secretariat, meant to facilitate the launch in the MP work.

With the internal information system (Intranet) authorized, the MPs will familiarize with the structure and powers of the legislative institution, organization and work of the parliament’s secretariat. Also, on Intranet, the lawmakers will be able to access legislative acts, databases, contact information, regulations and registers.

At the same time, the information refers also to technical aspects, as well as the regulation on the use of session halls, presence of lawmakers in parliament, access to the institution’s car park, etc.

All conditions have been already ensured in the parliament’s building for all MPs and civil servants of the parliament’s secretariat to be able to have access to the high speed internet. Almost 500 points for boosting the Wireless signal were set, which cover about 90 per cent of the parliament’s building. The MPs’ bureaus will be endowed with the needed computer technology, IP telephony system and the system of Print Management – efficient and rational management of documents’ printing – is available in the entire building of the parliamentary institution.
