Chisinau authorities initiated controls to detect, sanction abandoned construction sites

Chisinau, 10 August /MOLDPRES/- The General Directorate of Public Transport and Communications of the Chisinau City Hall has initiated controls in order to detect the economic agents that execute works on the technical-municipal networks and do not restore the construction sites within the deadline.

The municipal authorities appealed to the network owners to ensure that the initiated works were completed properly, with the restoration of the asphalt pavement. Otherwise, sanctions will be applied. Abandoned construction sites favor the deterioration of the road foundation and the appearance of settlements. Also, the excavations create inconveniences for the inhabitants of the city.

Recently, a telephone operator was warned for non-execution in time of the restoration works of the intervention area. At the same time, he was obliged to remove the non-conformities in due time.

In this context, the local authorities warn the economic agents that own construction sites or various buildings, the managers of the blocks of flats, as well as the owners of ground dwellings, about the application of sanctions for excavations on public roads, without coordinating actions with municipal services.
