Moldovan diplomacy head meets foreign affairs minister of Cyprus

Chisinau, 23 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovan diplomacy head, Nicu Popescu, has met his Cypriot counterpart Nikos Christodoulides, on the sidelines of the High-Level Segment of the United Nations General Assembly, the Foreign Affairs European |Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service reported.

Minister Nicu Popescu offered thanks to the Cypriot authorities for the support of Moldova’s European agenda, implicitly through the consolidation of the country’s political association and economic integration with the European Union.

„I emphasized our interest in boosting the economic relations and commercial exchanges, to speed up the talks on the agreement in the social protection sector and the discussions on the liberalization of the roaming prices,’’ Popescu added.
