As of today, all pensions to be indexed by 3.86%

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/- The National Social Insurance House announced that under the government decision No162/2021 on indexation of state social insurance benefits, on 1 October 2021 all pensions are indexed by 3.86%.

Pensions for old age, disability, survivor will be indexed from today; old-age pensions; pensions of civil servants; pensions of customs officers; capitalized periodic payments; disability benefits; the monthly pensions and monetary compensations provided to the citizens who have suffered as a result of the Chernobyl catastrophe; the pensions of the military and of the persons from the command corps and from the troops of the internal affairs bodies and from the General Inspectorate of Carabinieri; the allowances of the descendants of the medical staff who died as a result of the medical activity in the fight against COVID-19 and the judges' pensions.

According to the government decision, from October 1, the amount of the minimum pension for the age limit will be 2000 lei. From this date, 182 thousand pensioners with full contribution period, who received a pension for the age limit less than 2000 lei, will receive a minimum pension of 2000 lei per month, and 121 thousand pensioners with an incomplete contribution period will benefit from an increase in the minimum old-age pension in proportion to the contribution period completed at the time the pension was established.

At the same time, from October 1, 2021, the amount of the minimum disability pension represents: in case of a severe disability - 1500 lei, in case of an accentuated disability - 1400 lei, in case of an average disability - 1000 lei.

At the same time, the state social allowances for 71 thousand beneficiaries will be recalculated.
