Chisinau, 6 October /MOLDPRES/- From 1 October, law enforcement officers have carried out over 2,900 inspections of economic agents (trade units, markets, fuel stations, public catering units, recreational areas, nightclubs, swimming pools), sanctioning 111 private people and a legal entity that did not comply with the anti-epidemic measures.
According to the police, late last week, the police carried out unannounced checks in markets, shopping malls and nightclubs, monitoring compliance with the measures imposed by CNESP decisions and carrying out prevention actions through information and verification.
"In the context in which the messages of the authorities and the imposed measures are ignored, the police are forced to act, the purpose of all controls being to protect people's health. We will continue these informative activities - preventive and awareness of the risks to which people are exposed as long as the health protection norms will not be strictly observed ", a communiqué of the institution reads.
In this context, the police recommend the mandatory wearing of protective masks in all closed public spaces, including public transport, as well as in open spaces where it is not possible to observe a physical distance of at least one meter. The mask should cover both the mouth and the nose.
