Moldovan electoral body set up electoral councils in settlements where new local polls are to be held

Chisinau, 8 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has set up 14 electoral councils in the commune and village constituencies where new local polls will take place on 21 November.
At a today’s meeting, the central electoral authority approved the creation of the electoral councils of the electoral constituencies in the settlements Opaci, Ucrainca, Hartop, Cupcini, Hlinaia, Calinesti, Iscalau, Parlita, Camenca, Balceana, Cneazevca, Palanca, Stefanesti and Negurenii Vechi, where new local elections will be held on 21 November 2021.
At the same time, the CEC members accredited 22 people as national observers on behalf of the Promo-LEX public association, in order to monitor the new local elections due on 21 November this year.
At the same time, the Commission members gave 11 mandates of municipal, town, commune and village councilors.
