Customs Service reported revenues of over 616 million lei on 4-10 October

Chisinau, 11 October /MOLDPRES/- The revenues of the Customs Service to the state budget constituted, between October 4-10, over 616 million lei, more by 21% compared to the budgetary burden established for this interval.

Also, since the beginning of October, the Customs Service has collected over 806 million lei from the state budget, being attested an increase of 50% compared to the revenues from the same period of 2020.

During the last week, 12,553 customs declarations were made, and the flow of means of transport constituted 59,791 crossings. The busiest customs posts remain Leuseni and Sculeni, with 14,727 and 11,110 crossings, respectively.

"In the fight against fraud, during the period covered, 202 violations of customs legislation were found and fines in the amount of over 110 thousand lei were applied. The most frequent violations refer to the exceeding of the term on the territory of the Republic of Moldova of the means of transport with foreign numbers, declared by action ”, indicates PS.

During the reference period, the officers of the Information Line received 485 requests for information related to the customs activity.
