CMC approved regulation granting financial aid for disadvantaged people

Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau Municipal Council / CMC / will once again provide financial assistance to disadvantaged groups of citizens when making payments for energy resources.

Today, the municipal councilors approved, by a majority of votes, the regulation on granting financial aid for the disadvantaged categories of Chisinau residents.

The head of the General Directorate of Communal Housing of the Chisinau Municipal Council, Ion Burdiumov, said that for the cold season of this year, financial aid is planned for 21,500 inhabitants of the capital, worth about 52 million lei.

According to the official, the people who received financial aid in the previous year, will also benefit from the aid this year, without having to apply. "The special price commissions will check the files of the beneficiaries who will receive this aid," Burdiumov said.
