Forty one economic agents of Moldova sanctioned for non-observance of public health measures

Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/ - Officers of the complex investigations department at the National Investigations Inspectorate (INI) on 7-10 October carried out a string of actions, in order to verify the observance of the public health measures. As a result, 64 economic agents were inspected and infringements were detected in 41 of them.

According to INI’s data, the controls regarded economic agents providing services in the field of public nourishment, night clubs, dance rings, entertainment zones. Law-enforcers established that they were placing advertising announcements and invitations to diverse cultural and entertainment events, although this runs counter the legal provisions.

Contravention procedures were initiated against economic agents and evidence is to be subsequently annexed and the guilty people are to be called to account.

Law enforcers said that they would continue the control actions in more institutions, in order to verify the observance of the measures of prevention and combating of the COVID-19 infection.
