Teachers from Soldanesti participated in ecological workshop

Chisinau, 21 October /MOLDPRES/- Over 50 teachers from Soldanesti district recently participated in a workshop for teachers in technical vocational education. The event aimed to initiate and promote a vision for the development of green skills in relation to new trends in sustainable development.

The workshop took place in Rogojeni village, Soldanesti district. Teachers had the opportunity to learn how they can train and develop their motivation to integrate specific green skills in the process of training specialists in construction and energy efficiency.

The participants in the event had the opportunity to experience and understand the process of interaction between man and nature, as well as the consequences of poor actions in this regard. Also, under the aegis of the Center of Excellence in Constructions, the teachers had the opportunity to study the constructions made of ecological materials.

The event ended with the planting of trees in the meadow of the river Răut, sanitation works on both banks, on a route of about three kilometers. At the same time, the teachers cleaned the yard and the interior of the church in Rogojeni village, as well as in the courtyard of the local museum.

The activity was organized with the support of the project Promoting technical vocational education for a green economy. It is implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and co-financed by the Swiss Agency for Cooperation and Development.
