Mayor Ion Ceban said today after the meeting of the Municipal Commission for Emergencies that the city hall will compensate the families who suffered as a result of the fire. "We will help families who have become homeless. If there are not enough funds in the reserve fund, we will address the City Council to support this initiative. The roof of the house will be repaired. The attic itself, according to experts, cannot be restored ", Ceban said.

At the same time, he added that in addition, each family will be granted 50 thousand lei for the purchase of furniture and other necessary things. In addition, the damage suffered by the owners of the apartments on the lower floors will be assessed and assistance will be provided.

The official asked the competent authorities to take measures to identify and punish those who committed serious violations in the construction of the attic.
