Photovoltaic park operates on roof of Tax Service

Chisinau, 5 November /MOLDPRES/- A photovoltaic park has been installed on the roof of the State Tax Service building, thanks to a bilateral cooperation project between the Energy Efficiency Agency (EEA) and the Government of Lithuania.

The main objective of this project was to promote energy from renewable sources and to take over the experience of the states of the European Union in this field.

"The photovoltaic park has a power of about 55 kW, 22 photovoltaic panels and two inverters that produce about 60,000 kWh / year," says AEE.

Since 2018, when the project was implemented, the park has produced approximately 200,000 kW, which brought a saving of about 400,000 lei. "Through an online monitoring platform, we can check and track online how much electricity this photovoltaic park produces," said the quoted source.
