New Commander of National Army introduced to staff

Chisinau, 8 November /MOLDPRES/- Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatii today introduced new chief of staff, Commander of the National Army, Colonel Eduard Ohladciuc.

He congratulated Ohladciuc on his appointment, and voiced confidence that his experience will contribute to ensuring the efficient functioning of the institution. Nosatii added that the new commander will have the full support of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense in achieving the objectives of transforming the National Army.

Eduard Ohladciuc is a graduate of the Military University in Kharkov, Ukraine, of the War College in Bucharest, as well as of the George C. Marshall International Security Studies College. He has over 30 years of experience in the military field. He held several command positions in the National Army, the last being that of Deputy Chief of the General Staff.
