Ambulance doctors threatened with gun in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 8 November /MOLDPRES/- An AMU team was threatened this morning with a firearm while trying to help a young man. The incident took place in the Rascani sector of the capital.

According to the National Center for Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance, at 04:36 the ambulance was requested for a 32-year-old patient.

The ambulance doctors found a man with inappropriate behavior in the stairs of a block of flats. While providing emergency medical care at the prehospital stage, the patient pulled out a weapon threatening the team from the ambulance. Thus, the individual intended to obtain narcotic drugs from the medicine kit. The fencer managed to enlist the help of a police crew by special telecommunications.

The law has detained the person and all the circumstances of the incident are to be determined.
