New issue of Romanian Film Days ends in Moldova

Chisinau, 9 November /MOLDPRES/ - The seventh issue of the Romanian Film Days in Chisinau has ended, after more films were screened in five cities from Moldova: Nisporeni, Calarasi, Balti, Cahul and Soroca. The last screenings took place in Soroca on 6-7 November.   

According to the organizers, during four days, on 7-10 October, spectators from Chisinau were able to watch a record number of new Romanian movies, as well as classical ones: 13 full-length films, screened at the Odeon Movie Theatre and 17 short films, presented at the Music, Theatre and Fine Arts Academy from Moldova. In Chisinau, 1935 spectators watched the movies and 1,007 ones – in the other cities of Moldova. About 3,000 spectators watched the cinematographic event Romanian Film Days.     

All films were with free entrance.

The Romanian Film Days is an event organized by the Association of Independent Cinema Men Alternative Cinema from Moldova and the Rova Film production house from Romania. The event is backed by the Culture Ministry, Department for Relation with Moldova of the Romanian government, National Cinematography Centre, Mihai Eminescu Romanian Cultural Institute in Chisinau and the Filmmakers Union of Romania. The partners are the National Archive of Films from Romania, Moldova Film, the Ion Luca Caragiale National University of Theatre and Film from Bucharest and the Music, Theatre and Fine Arts Academy from Moldova.
