National Center for Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Care received batch of disinfectants from Germany

Chisinau, 10 November /MOLDPRES/- The National Center for Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance today received a donation of disinfectants worth 50,000 euros from the German Embassy.
Disinfectants were procured through the project "Purchase of disinfectants for medical staff within IMSP CNAMUP during the COVID-19 pandemic". The event of transmission of the donation was attended by Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health Zinaida Bezverhni and Ambassador of Germany to Moldova Angela Ganninger.
“This batch will supply the stocks of disinfectants necessary for the institution in preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus and will be distributed to all emergency medical teams in the country. Emergency care workers are at the forefront of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and deserve our full support, ”said Angela Ganninger.
Zinaida Bezverhni thanked the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, mentioning the importance of continuous support in the implementation of activities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The donated batch includes 6 types of disinfectants in a total quantity of about 12 tons, as well as 243,000 disinfectant wipes.
